Cool, crisp, refreshing. Three words that immediately come to mind when you hear lemonade. Those three words also happen to perfectly describe the LA based eatery known as Lemonade. The location we dined at happened to be in San Diego, they have a multitude of locations all over California.
This hip little cafeteria-style joint has a multitude of food styles to choose from including a sandwich bar, pizza, salads and of course a healthy selection of unique tasty lemonades to pair with your awesome eats. Their menu is always changing depending on what is in season, so you never know what delectable treats they will be serving.
Each section of the restaurant brings you to different style offerings. This case contained delicious choices like citrus poached salmon fillets, ahi tuna and avocado poke, coffee ancho rubbed skirt steak and many more options.
Our favorite little station though was this unique one featuring green beans and pineapple chicken, watermelon radish and seared ahi tuna, BLT panzanella and Canadian bay shrimp with sweet corn. This offering was definitely their case of special items for the week and did not disappoint.
The pizza selection here is top notch and worth a bite. They even have a small kids menu to choose from, we got Jake some mac and cheese and creamy milkshake. We loved chowing down at Lemonade.
