On June 20th, 2016 the strawberry moon coincided with the summer solstice for the first time since 1967, and man was it a sight to behold.
We happened to be on Nantucket at the time, specifically staying at a home on New Street in the village of Siasconset. We didn't know when we set out on our evening walk out toward Sankaty Head Light, that strawberry moon would be rising.
Thankfully, we brought the Fuji X100T and Nikon D750 with us on this walk and we got some awesome pictures of Sconset and the blood moon rising.
