The fourth of July is always a fun experience to appreciate the independence of our country. From barbecuing with friends and family to watching the fireworks explode over a pitch black sky, the fourth is just about always memorable. This year was no exception. We set out around 7:30 with my mom and Dad and our good friend Georgia on our 24 foot Hurricane Sundek to watch the fireworks from the Indian River Lagoon. The explosives are set off from Veterans Memorial Island, just off Riverside Park, so the river is the best place to view them.
We all had a great time on the boat and we would like to thank all of those in the armed forces, law enforcement and fire rescue, for helping preserve our freedom and safety. God bless America.
